Hartshorn Hook take to the stage at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival

After an intense 2 week rehearsal period in London at Jerwood Space, London Bridge our newly formed cast made its way to the bustling capital of Scotland to spend the month of August performing at The Edinburgh Fringe!

Our production company Hartshorn Hook based at C Main Venue on Chambers Street met us with enthusiasm as we arrived in this buzzing city! After 2 days tech and dress we opened on 31st July with Rat Pack at 7.20pm and Blues Brothers at 11.05pm. Playing a sexy whisky sister dressed in ball gown and elbow length gloves in a classy cocktail bar with Frank Sammy and Dean is quite the opposite to the brash fun and quirky Staxx Sister that pushes Jake Blues around the stage in The Blues Brothers!

Our 5* reviews have been amazing, sell out shows and crowds on their feet dancing and shouting for more! Along with the experience of working with such a wonderful cast and production team. There is something very special about Edinburgh Fringe and I would encourage all my young students to spend some time there if they have a love of the theatre. My days were spent seeing shows and immersing myself in the creativity and talent of others before heading off in the evening to step on the stage myself, to do what I love the most! PERFORM!
