Join The Rising Stars and Ignite Your Child’s Imagination with *Room on the Broom* The Musical! September – December 2024!

This term, our Rising Stars programme for ages 4-6 is diving into the enchanting world of Room on the Broom The Musical! Your child will embark on a magical adventure with the beloved characters from Julia Donaldson’s classic storybook, brought to life with vibrant songs from various musicals, including the original song “Twice Round the Sun,” written exclusively for The Star Project by Paul Edwards, with musical arrangement by Gladstone Wilson.
As we journey through Halloween, your child will have an absolute blast getting to know the dog, the cat, the frog, the witch, and the dragon! They’ll learn choreography, songs, and scenes that will not only develop their acting, vocal, and dance skills but also build their stage confidence in a nurturing and supportive environment.
How do I book a Trial?
Securing a trial spot is simple. Follow these steps:
1. Create or sign in to your account.
2. Log in and navigate to “My Dashboard.”
3. Select “Add Child” and fill out the necessary information.
4. Choose “Book Trial” and select your preferred date and location.

**Prepares for Bigger Stages**: This term’s smaller-scale production is the perfect stepping stone, getting your child ready for the Main Stage term that begins in January 2025, where they’ll shine in even larger theatre settings.

**Where are rehearsals?**
We offer flexible rehearsal options across four convenient locations, so you can choose the one that best suits your schedule:
**Mondays in Worcester**: Whittington Community Hall 5pm-6.30pm
**Tuesdays in Cofton Hackett**: The New Cofton Village Hall 5.15pm-6.45pm
**Thursdays in Barnt Green** : The Parish Centre 5pm-6.30pm
**Saturdays in Droitwich**: The Salvation Army Community Church 10am-11.30am
**Performance Details**
The culmination of your child’s hard work will be showcased in a delightful performance at The Artrix Studio Theatre on Sunday, 1st December. Each group will have a dedicated time slot to present their unique rendition of *Room on the Broom* The Musical.
Your Rising Star will have the opportunity to invite up to four family members to experience their magical moment on stage. Tickets are estimated to be approximately £12 per person and will be available for purchase starting in November.
**Additional Information**
To participate in the performance, there is a £15 show fee, which covers the theatre day and additional rehearsal time.
Costumes will be student-sourced, with guidance provided by the end of September. We’ve ensured the costume requirements are simple and easily accessible, especially with the Halloween season in full swing think spooky, fun, and easy to create!
