What is Starbound? Audition Technique and Industry Prep Class

Starbound is the opportunity to enhance your audition skills with this dynamic class, designed to sharpen your dance technique, improve choreography pick-up speed, master corner work, and build a standout showreel. You’ll also develop a strong monologue repertoire and gain essential preparation for theatre school and the industry. While not performance-focused, this class offers the perfect opportunity to refine your talent and make a lasting impression! 20 Places available.

Where and When is Starbound?

Starbound is going to be located at: THE SALVATION ARMY, Ombersley Way, Droitwich Spa, Droitwich WR9 0AB

Starbound will run on Saturdays 1:15pm – 2:15pm and is open to all Star Project students across all Projects ages 10-18.

Some of the things you will cover are:

Dance Technique & Audition Prep – Train in partner work, lifts, and a variety of styles including contemporary, jazz, street/hip-hop, and musical theatre
Monologue Coaching – Master scripts with confidence and emotion
Showreel Creation – Learn how to present your best self on camera
Improvisation Training – Be ready for any audition challenge
Industry Insights – Get expert tips to prepare for professional theatre programs

Prices and How to Pay:

Joining these classes costs £40 per month!

Place are limited so please firstly express your interest in the form below, you will then be invited to confirm with payment in April if you have a place. This class will be available to pay in monthly payments.

Block 1:

Week 1 – 13th September
Week 2 – 20th September
Week 3 – 27th September
Week 4 – 4th October

Block 2:

Week 1 – 11th October
Week 2 – 18th October
Week 3 – 25th October
Week 4 – 1st November
