It is very important to us at The Star Project that part of building the children’s confidence and growing them as young performers is to involve them in performance events in the community.

Not only is this a brilliant experience in the run up to a show in a big theatre, it teaches them some valuable life skills, helps them to engage socially with people of all ages, shows them the importance of team work and it makes them more confident young people.

This Christmas 2018 our stars took part in two community events

Here they are helping to turn the lights on in the village of Barnt Green. They sang a medley of Musical Theatre and Christmas songs, dressed in their Christmas hats and brought joy to the village.

We were so proud of them!

Here are our Droitwich stars singing at Morrisons in Droitwich. They welcomed shoppers in the entrance with their big voices and even helped to pack some bags in between singing.

Being a student at The Star Project rewards children with a lot more than weekly classes in Musical

Theatre, it opens the doors to community performance opportunities like this, auditions for professional work and agencies, performing on big stages, making new friends and so much more
