Sarah is the Cofton Project Leader and Musical Theatre teacher and an experienced musical theatre performer, writer and teacher based in the West Midlands.

She completed a Bachelor of Music Theatre at Federation University Australia in 2018, followed by a Master of Theatre Writing from the Victorian College of the Arts in 2022. Her recent performance credits include working in Lapland, Finland as a character performer on the Sparkle Tour (Canterbury Travel, 2023), featuring in David Walliams’ BAD DAD UK national tour (Heartbreak Productions, 2023) and performing Shakespeare in a barbershop adaptation of The Comedy of Errors (Melbourne Shakespeare Company, 2021).

Sarah is also an award winning writer and composer passionate about crafting new music theatre. She has garnered international interest with her musical You’re a Catch! Why are you Single? which, following two successful Australian seasons, has gone on to be produced by the University of Winchester in the UK and by Katharsis Media in the USA as part of Broadway Bound LIVE Season 2, a televised theatre contest for young people. Her other works include Blue to the Horizon, which was produced by Sevenfold Theatre Company in 2023 and won a Greenroom Award for ‘Best New Australian Musical Theatre Writing’.
