Alongside becoming a cast member and auditioning for a role in the show, children also have the opportunity to join the backstage crew and learn about the technical side of the theatre. This includes lighting sound, props, set, costume and stage direction. All our shows are fully costumed, adding to the magic of the performance!
Children can expect to complete a Star Project workshop a more confident version of themselves. Full of confidence in their capabilities with their heads ringing with the achievements and memories they created with their new friends, they will feel an immense feeling of pride upon completion.
DAY PASSES: On some workshops we offer day passes. Although it is most beneficial to attend for a whole week and gain the full experience, day passes are a fun, and educational way to spend a day or two of their holiday, keeping them active and engaged! However be warned, most children want to come back the next day and join us forever! 😉
The format of our weeks usually consists of rehearsals Monday to Thursday with the final day on Friday being our show day! Day Pass students learn all the creative and take part in everything planned for that day, they just don’t perform at the end of the week unless they add on Friday!
It is a week that will leave memories in their hearts for the rest of their lives and children return again and again.
