Yesterday on Sunday 16th February the students of The Star Project Droitwich made magic as they took to the stage at The Norbury Theatre in Droitwich and presented two showstopping performances of Aladdin JR at 4pm and 7pm!

The show was a huge success and students left with big smiles after an amazing response from their audience of adoring family and friends!

This was the groups first performance under new management of The Star Project Theatre School since the school changed hands from Encore last September 2018.

The Star Project Droitwich is now seeing classes filling up fast with limited space in its Saturday morning Musical Theatre School.

Parents of the cast were delighted by what they saw and took to Facebook with some wonderful messages. One parent commented

“Thanks for all your efforts. Sophie has really developed in the last 4 months with you. I never thought I would see such a confident girl on that stage”

The Star Droitwich is already looking to the future and their next two shows! Firstly the students will join together with other Star Project schools from across Worcestershire for “Kids on Broadway” an exciting and energetic journey of the smash hit Musicals of The Big Apple! This will be performed at The Midland Arts Centre “ The MAC” Birmingham on Sunday 5th July.

Then later in the year in December 2020 The Star Project will license another Musical to take to the stage at The Norbury!

On Saturday 29th February The Star Project will open its doors for FREE TRIALS for any students that would like to come and check out the classes and give it a try! If you are interested in your child joining a Musical Theatre class with The Star Project you can book your trial here.
