Get ready for an incredible year of performance, growth and unforgettable opportunities at The Star Project! From stepping onto the stage for our brand-new Big Theatre Competition, to developing technique and building confidence throughout the year, our students will have the chance to learn, challenge themselves and shine. As we work towards our exciting MainStage 2027 productions, every student will have the opportunity to experience the magic of performing in a professional-quality theatre environment. It’s going to be a year full of creativity, teamwork, new skills and plenty of moments to be proud of — and we can’t wait to see where the journey takes our students!
On 11th November 2026, our Main Project and Rising Stars students will take to the main stage at The Artrix Theatrefor our exciting new Big Theatre Competition. Main Project students will perform a musical theatre piece, stand & sing and scene, while Rising Stars will perform a musical theatre piece and scene. Students will be judged by industry professionals, with awards presented throughout the competition. There will also be an exciting opportunity for students across Main Project and Rising Stars to audition for one of 8 solo performance spaces, giving them the chance to showcase their individual talents on the main stage.

Our Main Project students will bring the iconic Legally Blonde JR. to life at The Artrix Theatre on 3rd & 4th July 2027. Every student will have the opportunity to perform in this full musical theatre production, putting their acting, singing, dance and performance skills into action. With professional-quality set pieces, theatre lighting and sound, full costumes, props and backstage support, students will experience what it is like to be part of a professional-quality theatre production while performing for a live audience.
On 30th June 2027, our Rising Stars will take to the main stage at The Artrix Theatre to perform Barbie & Ken’s Dreamhouse the Musical. This is an original Star Project production, written specifically for our Rising Stars to challenge them, develop their skills and build their confidence as young performers. Every Rising Stars student will have the opportunity to perform in this exciting production, supported by professional-quality set pieces, theatre lighting and sound, costumes, props and our backstage team.
