In December 2022, The Star Project brought the stage to life after being in lockdown completing our first show after COVID-19 with an electrifying performance of We Will Rock You (Young @ Part) — a specially adapted, child-friendly version of the hit musical celebrating the legendary music of Queen.
Our talented performers from Barnt Green, Cofton Hackett, and Droitwich took to the stage at The MAC in Birmingham, filling the theatre with energy, confidence, and classic rock anthems. Meanwhile, our brand-new Worcester Project gave their debut performance in-house at Whittington Hall, marking an exciting milestone for our newest group of young stars.
Throughout this exciting project, our students explored themes of self-expression, individuality, and teamwork — learning how to celebrate what makes them unique while working together to create something incredible. From mastering bold choreography to performing with power and emotion, every rehearsal helped build confidence, stage presence, and a true sense of achievement.
With dazzling costumes, imaginative set design, and show-stopping vocal and dance numbers, The Star Project’s version of We Will Rock You was a performance to remember. Every child played a vital role in bringing the world of rock to life — proving that when our stars shine together, they can truly rock the stage! 🎸✨
