Be a Theatre Kid! – Join our next Week Long Musical Theatre Workshop
Star Project delivers dynamic musical theatre workshops in every main school holiday giving children the chance to step away from school and become a THEATRE KID for a day or two or a full week! These workshops give children the chance to attend a holiday camp and train in a rehearsal style setting towards a show on the final day to friends and family. Our workshops always take on an exciting musical theatre theme of a popular show or movie. Over the past 17 years we have delivered workshops such as:

- Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
- Descendantz
- Encanto
- Les Miserables
- Peter Pan
- Matilda
- Oliver
- Annie
- Mary Poppins
- Legally Blonde
- Theatre Vibes
- Best of the West End
- and many more.

Alongside becoming a cast member and auditioning for a role in the show, children also have the opportunity to join the backstage crew and learn about the technical side of the theatre. This includes lighting sound, props, set, costume and stage direction. All our shows are fully costumed, adding to the magic of the performance!
Children can expect to complete a Star Project workshop a more confident version of themselves. Full of confidence in their capabilities with their heads ringing with the achievements and memories they created with their new friends, they without a doubt will feel an immense feeling of pride.
Although it is most beneficial to attend for a whole week and gain the full experience, day passes are a fun and educational way to spend a day or two of their holiday, keeping them active and engaged! However be warned, most children want to come back the next day!
The format of our weeks usually consists of rehearsals Monday to Thursday with the final day on Friday being our show day! Day Pass students learn all the creative and take part in everything planned for that day, they just don’t perform at the end of the week unless they add on Friday!
It is a week that will leave memories in their hearts for the rest of their lives and children return again and again.

What to prepare?
Once your child is booked you will receive a PayPal receipt. You then won’t hear from us again until a week before the workshop! We will send you an email with a ” Get ready checklist” This will also contain the workshop script.
WORKSHOP SCRIPTS
Please ensure your child’s script is printed and put in a folder. Please ensure the pages are secure and easily turnable and that their name is on the front of the folder. The script is their biggest tool for the week and will be used in all 3 disciplines. They must bring it everyday and we encourage them to take good care of it.
