Collaboration Show
To maintain the high standards of performance and professionalism you’ve come to expect from The Star Project, we’ve decided to bring two schools together for each performance. In the true spirit of Grease… WE GO TOGETHER!
This will also mean more final rehearsal time than in previous years and as our set is the most professional one to date with multiple levels and moving parts (including the Greased Lightening Car) we will need it! The last time we did this was Shrek The Musical in 2019 at The Artrix and it was a huge success. Grease is a BIG show, and to put it into perspective ACT 2 is bigger that some main stage shows we have done before!
What This Means:
• Droitwich & Worcester will collaborate for one production on 14th June, and Barnt Green & Cofton for another on 15th June.
• Each school will rehearse separately but come together closer to the performance date to create a truly unforgettable show. We will send you a reminder of all of the dates soon.
• Each school will take the lead in one act while becoming the ensemble for the other act, allowing students to participate in the entire performance.
• We will be introducing Theatre Pals where each student will be given a pal at the other project to keep in touch with and share rehearsal news with until they meet in person.
Additional Costs for Main Stage Term
In Main Stage Term there a few additional costs that we like to detail from the start of the rehearsal process for you to consider and to help you get organized.
Show Fee:
The show fee for 2025 is £45 per student. This fee covers the following:
- All costume expenses (including wigs if required)
- Technical rehearsal time at the theatre, with supervision provided
- Chaperone and performance license arrangements
- A show medal and certificate to commemorate their achievement
Which show is my child in?
There are two shows a day! So each child will perform in a 2.30pm and 5.30pm on the day of their show.
